Drive Commercial Growth and Strategy
A leading online food delivery platform is seeking a skilled professional to lead commercial growth and strategy initiatives. The ideal candidate will analyze business performance, identify opportunities, and drive initiatives that boost demand and conversion.
Reporting into the Country Trading Lead, you will collaborate closely with the Marketing department, acting as a strategic and analytical partner to shape data-driven marketing decisions and scale up their quantitative capabilities.
This role requires working with the team out of our modern Berlin office three days per week.
* Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs to understand demand drivers, identify gaps, and surface timely opportunities.
* Support weekly trading meetings with clear performance insights and forward-looking forecasts for key stakeholders.
* Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for campaign planning and strategic priorities.
* Collaborate with Marketing to align commercial goals with campaign execution, ensuring data-informed, high-impact actions.
* Define, size, and assess marketing promotions and initiatives, bringing structure and quantitative rigor to planning.
* Work closely with Performance Marketing to optimize spending for topline growth and new customer acquisition.
* Evaluate the commercial and ROI effectiveness of promotional and marketing activities to inform future strategies.
* Partner with Commercial and Logistic teams to align marketing activations with business needs and measurement.
* Contribute to a playbook of demand-driving levers, capturing learnings for scalable and repeatable trading actions.
What Will You Bring?
* Similar experience in a performance, strategy, or business analytics role, preferably within a marketplace, e-commerce, or tech-driven consumer business.
* Advanced analytical skills with fluency in Excel, SQL, and at least one BI tool (Power BI, Looker, Tableau, etc.).
* Experience turning data into decisions, from framing the right questions to building models and dashboards, to influencing stakeholders.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work closely with non-analytical teams and bring them along the data journey.
* Familiarity with key marketing channels and metrics is a strong plus (e.g., CRM, paid media, promotional mechanics).
* Previous experience working with Marketing Mix Modelling is a plus.
* Enthusiastic and adaptable, with a can-do attitude, proactivity, and ability to thrive in a range of environments.
