Job Title: Business Development Specialist
The primary goal of this role is to collaborate with partners to develop, qualify, manage, and close high-velocity sales business within an assigned sales territory. This role requires a hunter mentality to break into new accounts and workloads.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and oversee implementation of a strategic territory plan to align partners and account team on territory growth strategy
* Develop, manage, and grow a pipeline of sales opportunities with capable partners and distributors to drive sales revenue
* Leverage resources to create brand awareness and generate demand in assigned territory
* Deliver strategy, vision, and messaging to customers, prospects, and partners
* Responsible for sales forecasting accuracy, linearity, and operational hygiene to achieve business management excellence
Requirements:
* Fluent German & English (C1)
* Self-starter who is comfortable working independently and in a team environment
* Strong understanding of partner landscape in a specific territory
* Broad exposure to a variety of data storage and cloud technologies/concepts
* Highly organized and disciplined with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues within departments across functions
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, customer service, and negotiation skills
* Located within assigned territory and able to travel regularly to visit local customers and partners
* 2+ years of field technology sales with a focus on new logo acquisition and business development
