You'll have the freedom to shape the product roadmap, discover innovative ML applications, and collaborate with a talented cross-functional team.Key responsibilities:Designing and testing novel AI solutions for real business problemsOwning research projects end-to-end from understanding requirements to design, implementation, experimentation, and reportingDiscussing ideas within the research team and providing peer reviewsKeeping up with NLP and ML literature, introducing new concepts as potential solutionsCollaborating with machine learning engineers to implement designs into productionUsing suitable tools for rapid testing and future production considerationsWorking with Product Managers and stakeholders to discover the product roadmapWho you are:Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fieldsProven research experience in Machine Learning or NLP, ideally in industryKnowledge of deep learning neural network architectures, with a focus on NLPAbility to translate research ideas into proof-of-concept modelsPractical approach to applying ML solutions to business problemsExperience with conversational AI is a big plusPositive, proactive team player passionate about their craft and product discussionsExcellent communication skills and fluency in EnglishHow do we measure success in this role?Alignment of work with product roadmap and strategic goalsEffective collaboration with cross-disciplinary teamsAbility to identify and prioritize new opportunities within the product areaZendesk builds software for better customer relationships, empowering organizations to improve engagement and understanding.
