Your Future Field of Action
From our technology centre located in Leverkusen, we support our global production plants in the manufacture of isocyanates and coating raw materials. Our tasks include supporting the production plants, process optimization, troubleshooting, as well as leading and accompanying investment and development projects.
During your internship, you will work as an active team member on these tasks and be integrated into our ongoing projects:

These Tasks Await You
1. Process simulation for model-based optimisation and analysis in Aveva Process
2. Simulation Data analysis of process data in Python to identify influencing factors and process optimisation
3. Creation and further development of dashboards in Python for monitoring and optimisation of manufacturing processes
4. Support of investment and development projects (e.g. creating process flow diagrams, mass and energy balances, as well as calculating/designing heat exchangers and separation equipment)
5. You will have the opportunity to work on your own sub-projects and discuss your results with the plants and respective experts Support in carrying out material flow analyses
This Makes You Our Perfect Match
6. You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computational Engineering Science or a comparable field of study
7. You have already successfully completed relevant basic lectures such as (Thermal) Process Engineering, Thermodynamics and Heat and Mass Transfer
8. You preferably already have initial experience and expertise in process simulation (Aspen Plus, Aveva Process Simulation or similar), material flow analysis (INOSIM) or data analysis (Python, Matlab)
9. You bring a passion for process development and new technologies
10. English and German language skills, for communication and exchange with our global production plants, round out your profile.
The duration is between three to, preferably six months for us.
