Within the Securities and Collateral Clearing Design Section, the Collateral & Repo Clearing Design Unit oversees the functional design of the Collateral Management System and Repo Clearing Services, as well as the eligibility framework for securities collateral. We seek a motivated, detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of the repo market and strong stakeholder engagement skills. The ideal candidate will demonstrate business acumen and a talent for delivering innovative, practical solutions.
Your Responsibilities
1. Collaborate closely with Business & Product Development teams and external customers to systematically collect, define and validate requirements for new or enhanced products and functionalities
2. Convert validated customer needs into business requirements and concepts and create customized solutions
3. Partner with IT, Functional Design, and collateral management locations to implement innovative solutions and initiatives for clients, including preparing contractual documentation. Ensure seamless integration of all strategic repo clearing projects into the operational workflow, maintaining compliance with technical, regulatory, and legal standards
4. Work closely with related departments across Deutsche Börse Group, such as Clearing Functionality, IT, Clearing Operations, Product Tax, Regulation and Legal
5. Present repo clearing topics at strategic customer committees and external forums. Support IT releases related to repo clearing from a business perspective
6. Serve as the main contact for Clearing Members, new client prospects, and Trading Venues on repo-related matters or inquiries
7. Prepare and document management decisions
Your profile
8. Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline, with educational background and professional experience in the repo business
9. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
10. High level of commitment and motivation, with a strong sense of responsibility
11. Efficient, goal-oriented, self-reliant, and dependable Team Player
12. Knowledge of IT topics and/or project management is advantageous
13. Fluent in English (written and spoken); German language skills are a plus
14. Familiarity with clearing and settlement processes is desirable
