1. PCBA Development: You take responsibility for your own PCBA development projects from ideation to testing and mass production implementation
2. Design Expertise: You challenge current and new designs, providing the team with your expert knowledge of electronics and PCBA design as well as the tool chain used to create them
3. Collaboration: You closely collaborate with our Software and Mechanical Engineering teams to create the best holistic solutions with a customer-focused approach
4. Department Advancement: You contribute to advancing our department’s structure, processes, and scalability
5. Documentation & Task Management: You document your technical work, manage your tasks, and share your progress transparently. You plan your projects and supervise their timelines
Your fitness level
6. Electrical Engineering Studies: You have a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent educational background
7. Professional Experience: You have at least 3 years of professional experience as an engineer in a developer role
8. PCB Design: You have successfully conceptualized, designed, and launched a printed circuit board with state-of-the-art eCAD software
9. Technical Skills: You are proficient in electronic debugging, EMC debugging, laboratory measurements, and signal processing
10. Software Development: You have experience with software development or scripting solutions to efficiently test and debug electronics
11. Further skills: You can prove knowledge of two or more of the following technologies:Embedded software development (C, C++)Embedded computing solutions (eg. ARM-based SoCs)High-speed PCB designAC motor control and inverter topologiesEMC-optimized PCB/system design & EMC-related regulatory compliance in electronics

12. Design Ownership: You takeownership of one of our system components, manage its requirements and execute a first full development cycle, including release
13. Design Validation: You bring your own design outputs to life by finalizing a board bring up and validation testing phase
14. Knowledge Sharing: You share your knowledge and experience of electronics design and establish new best practices in the team
15. Product Understanding: You understand the EGYM’s product portfolio and technical solutions in hardware
