Position Overview
We are seeking an EDA Technical Sales Engineer to join our growing team in Europe. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise with customer‑facing sales responsibilities, supporting the expansion of our EDA solutions across key European markets. You'll work directly with customers to understand their technical challenges, demonstrate the value of our tools, and drive adoption of our innovative solutions in electronic design automation.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct technical demonstrations and proof‑of‑concept projects with prospective customers to showcase EDA tool capabilities and ROI

Collaborate with sales teams to identify customer needs, develop technical solutions, and support deal closure

Provide pre‑sales technical support, including architecture reviews, tool integration assessments, and performance optimization recommendations

Build and maintain strong technical relationships with key customers and partners across Europe

Gather customer feedback and market insights to inform product development and sales strategy

Participate in industry events, conferences, and webinars to promote Siemens EDA solutions and establish thought leadership

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)

3+ years of experience in EDA tools, semiconductor design, or related technical domain

Strong understanding of chip design, board design, or system‑level design flows

Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences

Proven ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams

Fluency in English; additional European languages a plus

Technical Qualifications

ASIC Design for Test experience

Interested in applying engineering skills in a creative way to solve unique customer challenges

Existing Design for Test experience is required including the following:

MBIST

IJTAG

Boundary Scan

Scan, ATPG

Embedded Compression

Strong understanding of the overall ASIC design

Experience in design flow automation in the Tessent Shell environment

Experienced in Memory BIST with repair using Tessent MBIST

Experienced with Logic BIST using Tessent Hybrid TK/LBIST

Experience with IJTAG (IEEE 1687), ICL/PDL

Experience performing boundary scan insertion using Tessent Boundary Scan

Experience in ATPG and compression using TestKompress

Experience in scan insertion using Tessent Scan

Experience in the verification leveraging Tessent generated testbenches using Questa and industry standard simulation tools

Experience with tcl scripting

DFT architecture and methodology development is highly desired

RTL design experience is a plus

Our Benefits & Rewards
The total cash compensation range for this position is 90,100 EUR to 180,200 EUR with 20% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target (100% achievement). The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
