Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist
This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves working in our SOC (Security Operations Center) to help us protect our network and systems from cyber threats.
We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Specialist who has a strong background in security and can work collaboratively with our team to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work under pressure, and have a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest security technologies and trends.
Responsibilities:
* Monitor and analyze security event data to identify potential security threats
* Develop and maintain use cases, correlations, and detection rules to improve our security monitoring capabilities
* Conduct threat analyses, vulnerability management, incident response, root cause analyses, and documentation
* Continuously develop and optimize our security monitoring and process optimization in the SOC area
* Create reports, dashboards, KPIs, and security-relevant evaluations
* Create, coordinate, and communicate security guidelines and concepts
* Design, train, and raise awareness in the areas of IT and cyber security
Requirements:
* Degree in computer science or comparable qualification with a focus on security
* Several years of experience in the SOC area as well as sound knowledge of SIEM systems, especially Splunk
* Practical knowledge in the areas of incident response, threat intelligence, log analysis, and malware and forensics analysis
* Understanding of network architectures, firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, endpoint security, and cloud security concepts
* Experience with SOAR platforms, automation of security processes, MITRE ATT&CK, and threat hunting an advantage
* Experience in vulnerability management desirable
* Business fluent German (at least C1 level) and very good English skills
