Student Assistant (m/f/d) – R&D Support for Technology Roadmapping in Electric Vehicle Powertrains
Customer Engineer (CE) is a technical role focused on learning as well as providing direct support. CEs will work under the direction of a senior Customer Engineer, assisting in installations and/or maintenance, monitoring error logs and replacing components as needed. As skills and knowledge grow, so will responsibilities. Personal flexibility to work a variety of hours is key to success as customer needs drive interaction and response, working weekend and on-call hours. The CE may be the only person in a region and must be able to work independently, reach out for help, work with others at a distance and build strong relationships both inside the and with customers. An Entry Professional applies broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education. May require the following proficiency: Work is closely supervised. Problems faced are not typically difficult or complex. Explains facts, policies and practices related to job area.
Your core responsibilities include:
* Support the development and visualization of technology roadmaps for electric vehicle powertrains
* Conduct research and analysis on trends, innovations, and competitor technologies
* Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and technical summaries for internal and external stakeholders
* Organize and help facilitate roadmap workshops and brainstorming sessions
* Collaborate with international teams and contribute to strategic planning activities
Profile and Qualifications:
* Enrolled student in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or a related field
* Strong interest in electric mobility and future technologies
* Solid understanding of electric powertrain components (e-motors, inverters, batteries, etc.)
* Excellent presentation and communication skills
* Fluent in both English and German (spoken and written)
* Independent, structured, and proactive working style
* Confident in using MS PowerPoint and Excel
