Your tasks and responsibilities:
* Define, maintain and update the Quality Assurance Plan
* Manage and perform quality activities in accordance with the plans in order to comply with the objectives
* Verify the quality of the data configuration management
* Organize internal reviews throughout the development cycle
* Maintain quality assurance records
* Verify accuracy and consistency of certification data
* Monitor the quality of activities of subcontractors involved in the development
* Perform root cause analysis of anomalies to improve development methods
* Support the development teams (including the Product Manager for example for external reviews) in terms of processes, methods and tools in relation to the certification requirements
* Critical eye on the technical aspects as well as on the development, validation, verification, configuration management and quality processes
Required qualifications:
The work task requires knowledge and skills, which are usually provided by a relevant, completed degree with a standard period of study of up to 4 years in the area of Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar, a standard period of study of more than 4 years with a degree and related subject-specific additional qualification or completed vocational training with a corresponding, particularly extensive, subject-specific additional qualification. The overall knowledge and experience required may have been acquired in other ways
Required expertise:
* Several years of professional experience in the field of critical electronic systems design or as product quality engineer
* Profound knowledge of ARP4754, DO-178 and DO-254
* Knowledge and experience in root cause analysis are very welcome
* Strong technical, analytical and organisational skills
* Ability to adapt to different situations
* A skilful, confident manner and strong communication skills
* Committed, proactive and team-orientated way of thinking and acting
* Fluent in English and German
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally

Your regular place of work is Manching. Within the scope of your duties, you will be deployed at the Airbus Defense and Space location after your start at Airbus Protect until the end of the operational requirements. After your return, you will be deployed at your regular place of work.
