Job Summary
The role of Supply Chain Manager involves overseeing the operation of supply chain and logistics processes. This entails supporting the SCM team, managing inventory discrepancies, and facilitating material forecasting.
Detailed Responsibilities
* Provide assistance to the SCM team in complex or escalated cases, including quality issues, inventory discrepancies, and SAP/ERP support.
* Collaborate with the SCM team to ensure efficient supply chain planning through effective material forecasting.
* Facilitate communication between the SCM department and other business units.
* Support supplier audits and forecast planning initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A degree or vocational training in supply chain management, logistics, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
* Substantial experience in production, procurement, or logistics is necessary.
* Familiarity with SAP or another Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is required.
* Knowledge of quality management principles and experience handling supplier claims, production defects, or inventory discrepancies is essential.
