Your responsibilities: Lead large-sized, complex and strategically significant BU Nutrition projects Develop, maintain, and monitor integrated project plans Drive proactive risk identification, assessment, and response strategies Represent project teams in governance bodies, ensuring evidence-based decision-making Identify systemic delivery barriers and implement solutions to reinforce execution efficiency Challenge constraints impacting critical path activities to unlock acceleration opportunities Lead programs composed of interdependent projects, ensuring coordinated delivery of strategic business objectives Compile and report portfolio performance by analyzing performance data, incl. KPIs, financials, deviations, and roadblocks Implement methods for project evaluation and prioritization to support platform- and data-driven decisions to improve portfolio delivery Implement methods for project evaluation and prioritization to support platform- and data-driven decisions to improve portfolio delivery - Support governance bodies during approvals by assessing the impact of upcoming pipeline projects on the existing portfolio Implement and maintain a portfolio-level risk management framework, proactively escalating systemic vulnerabilities to governance bodies Manage functional interdependencies across the portfolio to minimize conflicts and resolve bottlenecks Contribute to the creation, rollout, and adoption of PMO tools, templates, methods, and training (materials) Proactively partner with Finance and PMO to prepare financial FCs and BUD submissions for senior management review Your profile: You hold a Master’s degree in science, pharmacy, medicine, engineering, or (health) economics; MBA or Ph.D. preferred but not mandatory You bring a minimum of 15 years of professional experience with at least 5 years of project management and 2-3 years in program or portfolio management Advanced knowledge of regulatory, CMC, and (pre-)clinical requirements in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, combination products, or FSMP/food Professional certifications in project (e.g., PMI-PMP®), program (e.g., PMI-PgMP®), or portfolio management (e.g., PMI-PfMP®) are preferred You are fluent in English (spoken and written); proficiency in German or Chinese language is considered an asset Extensive skills in relevant applications, such as MS Office 365, MS Project, Planisware, MS Visio, and SharePoint Advanced knowledge of data visualization (e.g., Power BI), development (e.g., Power Apps), and AI (e.g., Copilot) tools Outcome-focused mindset with a hands-on and seasoned leadership presence Highly structured and process-oriented way of working with the capability of handling multiple tasks while balancing competing priorities Skilled in leading cross-functional teams in a global matrix organization without formal authority Profound stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and align diverse interests at all organizational levels Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging and inspiring varied audiences Proven ability to build and sustain high-performing teams through motivation Advanced change leadership knowledge, including the application of change management principles to drive adoption of new processes and digital tools High intercultural competence and sensitivity, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively across geographies and cultures Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify strategic implications quickly Resilient and composed under pressure, maintaining focus on strategic objectives while managing detailed execution Emotionally intelligent approach to assertive decision-making Digitally savvy with a strong interest in emerging technologies and trends in project and portfolio management
