Responsibilities
This critical position has an opportunity to shape Keysight’s future product architectures and impact the World around us by creating and delivering new measurement capability. You will apply your mechanical engineering skills to all phases of the design process including conceptual design, thermal analysis, developing prototypes, working with suppliers, and ensuring that your designs meet Keysight's quality/regulatory requirements. This is your opportunity to join a team that's bringing to market some of the most advanced solutions in the world. While part of a team, you will also be working independently on your priorities and tasks. The scope and complexity of your tasks will be based on your existing knowledge and capabilities as well as how fast you can acquire new skills.
Qualifications
Required
• BS, MS, in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with the ability to employ both a hands-on and analytic approach to problem solving.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and demanding product development environment and balance engineering decisions with schedule, material cost, and manufacturability.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in product design
• Experience in depth with Mechanical design tools (3D CAD, 2D Drawings, Thermal Analysis)
• Excellent written and verbal skills to be able to work across multiple functions and drive development.
Preferred
• In-depth experience in Electronics and/or Photonics product design
• Experience with thermal modeling and simulations
• Experience with Siemens NX / Team Center
• German language skills
