The Role and Candidate


The Demand Planner - Central Europe will play a crucial role in representing the country’s product and assortment needs. The role will primarily focus on proposing country-level forecasts, optimizing POP MART’s inventory management and overseeing last-mile logistics operations (from RDC to stores) across the Central European market, including Germany and The Nederlands. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager (Regional cluster Merch head), this dynamic position is responsible for managing merchandise transfers, maintaining warehouse systems and conducting data analysis to support the company's efficient retail operations. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with various departments to ensure smooth inventory flow, accurate data management and timely reporting, contributing significantly to POP MART's operational excellence and growth objectives.


Responsibilities


* Propose SKU-level monthly rolling demand forecasts to support accurate replenishment and sales planning
* Define and allocate the appropriate assortment from RDC/LDC to local stores based on sales trends and store needs
* Manage the local product launch calendar in coordination with internal teams and ensure timely execution
* Manage merchandise transfers and daily operations between multiple stores and warehouses
* Maintain warehouse systems and internal data systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency
* Facilitate communication between retail, warehouse and regional office to ensure smooth operations
* Participate in quarterly and annual inventory counts, ensuring proper stock management
* Conduct data analysis and provide regular reports or summaries to support decision-making
* Handle operational emergencies and resolve issues quickly and effectively, especially those related to last-mile deliveries
* Collaborate with the merchandise team to ensure timely delivery of projects and tasks
* Complete other tasks assigned according to project needs


Required Qualifications


* Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Retail Management or related fields (STEM background is a plus if paired with strong commercial interest)
* Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience
* Proficiency in MS Office suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) and data analysis tools
* Proficiency in English and German, speaking and writing
* Strong sense of responsibility, with good organisational and coordination abilities
* Detail-oriented, with the ability to quickly solve problems and handle operational emergencies
* Capable of efficiently handling multiple tasks and working effectively in a team environment
* Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently when required


Desirable but Not Essential


* Experience in the toy industry or retail sector
* Knowledge of English or any other European language
* Familiarity with Germany/The Netherlands retail landscape and logistics operations
* Experience with inventory management software or ERP systems (Net Suite)
