Job Description
Main Responsibilities
As a Finance & Controlling Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting financial and production-related processes with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA systems and cost analysis. This role requires close collaboration with operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting, efficient cost control, and strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate brings a proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and the flexibility to adapt to a dynamic business environment.
Production Cost Analysis & Controlling
1. Analyze production costs and identify cost-saving opportunities
2. Monitor cost centers, production variances, and profitability
3. Support budgeting and forecasting processes for manufacturing operations
4. Prepare regular reports on production efficiency and cost trends
5. Collaborate with operations and logistics to improve cost transparency and performance tracking
SAP S/4HANA System Expertise
6. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across SAP S/4HANA modules (FI/CO, MM, PP)
7. Drive automation and process improvements within SAP environments
8. Lead or support SAP-related projects, including system upgrades and enhancements
9. Act as a key user and liaison between business and IT for SAP finance topics
Financial Reporting & Support
10. Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in accordance with IFRS/local GAAP
11. Perform reconciliations and ensure accurate cost allocations
12. Prepare internal management reports (business end-to-end) and group reporting packages
13. Coordinate with finance teams and shared service centers to ensure data consistency and timeliness
Compliance & Coordination
14. Ensure compliance with internal control standards and corporate policies
15. Support internal and external audits with required documentation and analysis
16. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial data with operational performance
17. Contribute to risk management and internal control initiatives
Experience
Required Qualifications & Skills:
18. University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
19. Proven experience in finance and controlling, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
20. Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA, particularly in FI/CO modules
21. Ability to switch / operate on different reporting platforms
22. Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
23. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
24. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
25. High level of flexibility and adaptability to new business environments and challenges
26. Leadership experience and the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively
