Overview
We are seeking a Director Controlling & Risk Management to lead a high-performing Controlling & Risk Management team, drive governance and financial targets, and partner across 11 countries.
Responsibilities
* You lead and further develop a high-performing Controlling & Risk Management team, fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* You shape and enhance the Target Operating Model to balance roles in Business Partnering, Service Function, and Governance.
* You translate strategic objectives into measurable financial targets and KPIs across stakeholders and markets.
* You ensure efective fixed cost steering and further develop relevant policies, and processes.
* You oversee Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Controls in accordance with corporate policies and audit requirements.
* You are the Counterpart to IT for maintaining and scale FC BI Solutions.
* You drive Contribution Margin Steering for vehicle sales and Customer Services to support profitability targets.
* You manage product costing and pricing evaluations in close collaboration with Accounting and business partners.
* You provide accurate P&L calculations, financial consolidation, and journal entries to support local teams and global headquarters.
* You steer inventory controlling and long-term cash flow management.
* You support and align Finance & Controlling practices across 11 countries, partnering with local CEOs and contributing as a member of the Extended Executive Board.
What you bring along
* Extensive (8+ years) Controlling & Risk Management experience, ideally in the automotive sector (BEV sector experience is a plus).
* Proven expertise in strategic controlling, business case evaluation, and operational (sales) controlling.
* Senior leadership experience, including managing senior managers and cross- functional teams across multiple countries.
* The character of a strong collaborator, being able to align diverse functions and markets behind shared company targets.
* Combination of excellent analytical skills with strategic vision, translating insights into financial targets and operational performance.
* You thrive in uncertain, fast-paced environments and ensure high-quality, value- added results through prioritization and accountability.
* Fluency in German and English and ability to communicate in a clear, decision- oriented way.
* A Master’s or Diploma degree in Finance and Controlling.
* Thriving in leadership roles that require both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
