Environment Health and Safety Manager (m/f/x) Located in Unterschleißheim near Munich, Bavaria
As the Environment Health and Safety Manager, you will lead our EHS initiatives and ensure compliance with legal and internal standards. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Environment, Health and Safety Management Systems in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, while fostering a strong safety culture across the organization.
What you’ll be doing:
* Championing health and safety across the company, from risk assessments to training
* Ensuring legal and internal compliance in all EHS matters
* Investigating incidents and implementing preventive measures
* Collaborating with internal teams and external partners (e.g., safety specialists, company doctors)
* Supporting audits and process safety in close cooperation with Quality Management
* Managing environmental permitting and EMS documentation
* Promoting a safety-first mindset through active communication and on-site presence
* Occasional travel (e.g., supplier audits)
What you bring:
* Technical training or a degree in safety / environmental / health management
* Three to five years of EHS experience, ideally in manufacturing or metalworking
* Familiarity with ISO 14001 and 45001 as well as experience in audits
* Strong knowledge of occupational safety regulations and environmental law
* Confident with MS Office, HSE tools, and ideally ERP systems (e.g., Navision)
* Fluent in German, with good English skills
