To strengthen our application team we are currently looking for a Application Scientist SC-XRD (m/w/d) in Karlsruhe, Germany.
Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten
1. determining customer's requirements through technical sales consulting
2. maintaining and channeling communication between customers and the company
3. measuring, reporting, and presenting results on customer samples
4. providing application input for system integrations and products developments
5. planning and conducting customer visits to the applications department
6. technical advice and support of service groups deployed on-site in problem cases
7. choosing and compiling suitable application data for marketing materials
Qualifikationen
8.. degree in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geosciences or related field
9. 3 to 5 years of experience in X-ray diffraction
10. advanced background in single-crystal X-ray diffraction and hands-on experience with X-ray instruments
11. flexibility, communication, and team-work skills are required
12. ability and willingness to travel (domestically and internationally) to customer sites and scientific meetings
13. result-oriented work approach and self-organization capabilities
14. fluent in English
