Join Kleinanzeigen PRO and help shape the future of Germany’s leading horizontal marketplace for professional sellers. As a (Senior) Strategic Business Development Manager, you drive strategic initiatives, define growth priorities, and translate complex opportunities into scalable commercial impact. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, you contribute directly to the long-term success of our PRO business for small and medium-sized businesses.
This is a hybrid role, our office is in Berlin-Charlottenburg. You report to the Team Lead Business Development & Strategy.
What You’ll Do:
* Define and drive PRO’s strategy, OKRs, and key initiatives in close collaboration with the PRO leadership team and Kleinanzeigen management.
* Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Analytics, and other internal and external stakeholders to align strategy, execution, and commercial impact.
* Lead high-impact, cross-functional projects with senior stakeholder visibility, translating complex topics into clear recommendations and decisions.
* Structure and execute core commercial initiatives that enable scalable growth of the PRO business.
* Continuously develop and expand the professional seller value proposition by analysing market trends, user needs, and new opportunities.
* Build and improve scalable processes in a fast-growing organisation (e.g. onboarding, prioritisation, OKRs, knowledge management).
Who You Are:
* You have at least 5 years of experience in strategic business development, strategy, or a comparable role, including exposure to senior leadership.
* You are experienced in breaking down complex business challenges into actionable go-to-market plans, processes, and measurable outcomes.
* You communicate clearly and confidently with senior stakeholders, both in writing and verbally. You're fluent in English, German skills are a plus.
* You bring strong project management and lateral leadership skills and are comfortable driving initiatives across functions and levels of seniority.
* You are curious about technology and data-driven decision-making and actively explore how AI can enhance strategic, analytical, or operational work.
* You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, setting priorities in complex environments, and adjusting direction as new information emerges.
* Nice to have: Experience with SMBs, platform businesses, or B2B sales cycles.
