About the Role
* As a Research Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting independent research projects in risk analysis and statistical modelling of complex actuarial data.
* You will also play a key role in planning and managing scientific activities, supervising a research team in cooperation with the Professor.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics or Finance, with excellent programming skills in languages such as Python or R.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct research in risk analysis and statistical modelling of complex actuarial data.
* Plan and manage scientific activities, supervising a research team in cooperation with the Professor.
* Identify and apply for research funding, allocating project resources effectively.
* Disseminate research findings through international conferences and publications.
Additionally, you will be involved in teaching activities, developing new courses for the Master's programme in Actuarial Science, and contributing to student assessment activities.
Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics or Finance.
* Excellent programming skills in languages such as Python or R.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
