Overview
We are one of the largest contract research organisations (phases I and II) in Europe with more than 40 years of experience in international clinical drug research. In our study centres, a team of 150 employees work together in a network across Germany. For our location in Mannheim (remote working possible), we are looking for the following person to start as soon as possible:
Your Profile
* Proven track record of business development in clinical research, CRO services, or life sciences (essential)
* Strong network within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors in Germany
* Experience selling complex clinical or laboratory services, ideally Phase I & II
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
* Fluency in German and English required
* Results-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Your Responsibilities
* This is a hands-on, client-facing role with responsibility for achieving ambitious sales targets through proactive business development and account management.
* Develop and execute a sales strategy for clinical site and lab services, ensuring alignment with CRS’s growth objectives
* Proactively identify, prospect, and engage new clients in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring long-term client satisfaction and repeat business
* Manage the full business development cycle from lead generation to contract signature
* Represent CRS at industry conferences and networking events, promoting our capabilities and identifying new opportunities
* Host client visits and conduct off-site client meetings as needed
* Collaborate closely with Business Operations, and other Commercial functions to ensure smooth delivery and client alignment
* Provide accurate, timely updates to the BD opportunity pipeline and sales forecasts
