We are currently looking for you as a Trainer:in Bahnbetrieb Zugverkehrssteuerung (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO AG in the East region. We support your path to becoming a Trainer:in Bahnbetrieb, for example, with an entry as a Fachtrainer:in.
Your Responsibilities:
* You independently conduct training courses for the functional training of train traffic controllers and switch operators.
* You accompany the training from day one to the final exam, ensuring learning objectives are met.
* You support selected refresher courses for signallers and training for apprentices in the field of railway operations, specializing in train traffic control.
* When needed, you provide useful assistance with individual learning concepts to sustainably embed knowledge and confidence.
* You also conduct regular training sessions with outcome assessment.
* You contribute your operational knowledge to the creation, updating, and further development of training and examination materials, as well as practical handling of signal box simulations (e.g., PRESIM, #VRStw).
Your Profile:
* You have a qualification as a Railway Operations Specialist (IHK) or a comparable qualification, such as a state-certified railway technician or a Bachelor's in Railway Engineering (specializing in railway operations and infrastructure).
* You have at least 3 years of professional experience, including 4 months as a train traffic controller or district operations manager, with one year of practical experience in this role, or an approved training as a Trainer:in Bahnbetrieb Zugverkehrssteuerung.
* You enjoy working in a team and maintaining close communication with your interface partners.
* You demonstrate high self-management, responsibility, organizational skills, and a willingness to shape processes.
* You are proficient with standard IT applications (e.g., MS Office, Teams, Outlook) and eager to expand your media skills through online training or simulation systems.
* You possess a confident, conflict-capable, and communicative demeanor, supporting your moderation and presentation skills.
