Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
* You will help us with the development of algorithms and software prototypes to improve clinical decision-making based on SPECT/CT and PET/CT images. This includes understanding both the technical and clinical challenges, concept design, software development (simulations, algorithm optimization, data curation, automation scripts), and rigorous testing
* You will work closely with a team of scientists, engineers, and physicians
* You will document your work in a structured manner and present it regularly to the team

Your qualifications and experience:
* You are completing a master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related field
* You have programming skills in Python
* Knowledge of medical imaging and image processing is an advantage
Your attributes and skills:
* You have very good communication skills in English, German is a plus
* You work in an analytical, structured, and quality-conscious manner
* You can work independently and appreciate a cooperative team environment
