WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT The newly established Coatings Cybersecurity organization within the BASF Coatings division is a strategic initiative designed to safeguard digital assets, ensure regulatory compliance, and support innovation across global operations.
In your new role, you play a pivotal role in ensuring BASF Coatings meets evolving cybersecurity regulations and industry standards.
You lead and coordinate the implementation of regulatory requirements like the EU NIS2 Directive, ensuring full compliance across relevant entities and systems.
Furthermore, you manage global cybersecurity regulatory requirements, including TISAX for the automotive industry and other sector-specific frameworks.
You act as the central liaison between internal stakeholders, legal teams, and external auditors to ensure alignment with compliance obligations.
Lastly, you conduct gap analyses, risk assessments, and develop remediation plans in line with EU and global regulatory requirements.
WHAT YOU OFFER master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, with 2–3 years of professional experience proven experience in cybersecurity and regulatory compliance, ideally within industrial or automotive sectors strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage complex regulatory timelines teamplayer with excellent communication skills in both written and spoken German and English and a proactive, structured approach to compliance and risk management familiarity with EU cybersecurity legislation, including NIS2, and industry standards such as ISO 27001 and TISAX relevant certifications (e.g., CISM, CISSP, CRISC) are a strong plus WHAT WE OFFER We offer an attractive salary with individual benefits such as performance-related bonuses or a share program.
