A Snapshot of Your Day
As an SAP FICO Business System Analyst (f/m/d) at Siemens Energy, you will be part of a seasoned IT team dedicated to supporting the future of the energy market. Your role will involve providing global consulting and governance for Finance and Controlling processes within Siemens Energy ERP ECC6 systems. You will work closely with solution providers to ensure smooth business operations and address issues and change requests. Additionally, you will drive process standardization in the S/4 HANA project and oversee the migration from ECC6.
How You'll Make an Impact
* Collaborate with business representatives to develop innovative process solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness while managing global demand and providing process consulting for ERP systems
* Work with key business partners to gather requirements and develop functional specifications
* Complete FICO configuration to establish global standard processes in SAP
* Develop test cases and manage testing activities to ensure quality and compliance
* Lead IT projects for small to medium-sized initiatives, overseeing IT providers for application maintenance and change requests
* Collaborate with other application teams, Basis and Security teams, and the Service Desk team to ensure seamless integration and support
What You Bring
* A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent experience combined with several years of experience in global governance and providing business support for IT-integrated processes in a multinational environment
* Several years of experience in setting up SAP configuration in Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO), with in-depth knowledge of SAP FI sub-modules (GL, AP, AR, AA) and CO sub-modules (CCA, PCA, IO, PC, COPA)
* Strong understanding of FICO integration with other SAP modules
* Proven ability to manage small to medium-sized projects and experience in managing external providers for ERP system changes and support
* Ability to work effectively in agile and cross-functional environments
* Proficiency in written and spoken English and German, along with excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
