About the team and the role:
Tise is dedicated to making it easy and engaging to buy and sell secondhand items through its marketplace, with sustainability at the core of its mission. With millions of users across the Nordics and continued growth, Tise is now part of eBay, developing opportunities to scale product and technology further.
The team includes around 100 people, with a core group in Oslo spanning Product Management, Design, Engineering, and Data & Machine Learning. This role sits within a cross-functional product team and focuses on leading marketing efforts in Germany. You will shape and implement local marketing strategies, working closely with global teams and external partners to drive growth, engagement, and brand connection in the German market.
What you will accomplish:
1. Plan and implement marketing activities in Germany across campaigns, content, partnerships, activations, and in-app experiences
2. Adapt global brand strategy into locally relevant plans that resonate with the German market
3. Drive growth for both buyers and sellers while increasing awareness, engagement, and brand connection
4. Collaborate with global brand and performance teams to ensure aligned execution across channels
5. Coordinate agencies, partners, and suppliers to deliver consistent, high-quality campaigns
6. Manage timelines, priorities, and stakeholders across multiple concurrent initiatives
7. Analyze performance across brand, growth, and engagement metrics, and translate insights into actionable improvements
What you will bring:
8. Experience in marketing within consumer, lifestyle, fashion, marketplace, or tech environments (typically 4–6+ years)
9. Proven ability to manage multi-channel campaigns across social, influencer, partnerships, content, events, paid, and owned channels
10. Strong understanding of the German market, including Gen Z and Millennial audiences
11. Ability to use data and insights to evaluate performance and improve campaign outcomes
12. Effective project management and communication skills, with experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners
13. Strong brand awareness and understanding of culture, content, and consumer behavior
14. Proficiency in both German and English
