We are now expanding in the German region and are looking for an ambitious and driven Account Executive to join our Direct Sales Team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving new business by identifying, nurturing, and closing high-value opportunities across Germany. You’ll work closely with our Marketing, Solutions Consulting, and Partner teams to support your pipeline and leverage your strong communication and relationship-building skills to engage stakeholders at all levels—from operational managers to C-level executives. Responsibilities Identify and engage enterprise customers across the German region, with a focus on building a strong, high-quality pipeline Collaborate with Marketing to drive demand generation campaigns and regional events Lead strategic outbound outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn) to secure meetings and generate new opportunities Represent Neptune Software at industry events, user groups, and trade shows across Germany to boost brand visibility and lead generation Build and maintain trusted relationships with prospects through consistent and value-driven communication Conduct tailored product demos together with Solutions Consulting, addressing specific customer pain points Own the entire sales cycle—from discovery to negotiation and closing—with accuracy, speed, and a customer-first mindset Share market insights with internal teams to continuously refine our go-to-market strategy and product positioning Your profile Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience 8 years of software sales experience, ideally in enterprise SaaS or digital transformation solutions Proven success in developing new business and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets Strong experience engaging and influencing senior decision-makers in large enterprise environments Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as within cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications Experience in the German B2B software market, ideally in enterprise application development or digital transformation Knowledge of complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles Familiarity with the SAP ecosystem is a strong plus Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales performance analytics A good understanding of modern software technologies and licensing models Comfortable collaborating across teams including Product, Marketing, and Partner channels Why us?
