Your tasks and responsibilities Conduct literature research on continuous ultrasonic welding, industrial robots and their interactions and support in the ongoing welding activities. Analysis of requirements and preparation of specifications for the new welding end effector. Redesign of the new end effector using CATIA and performing static and dynamic structural simulations to validate the design. Iterative improvement of the structure and validation of the model under measured forces (static, dynamic, frictional, etc.) from the process. Ensure proper documentation and knowledge transfer for the continued development of the system. Desired skills and qualifications Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the area of mechanical, mechatronics, electrical, automation or manufacturing engineering, aerospace engineering or an equivalent field of study. Knowledge in the field of electronics and sensors. Experience with CAD software especially CATIA. Experience with structural analysis (static and dynamic). Ability to work independently and on your own responsibility. High intrinsic motivation, teamwork and communication skills. Language skills: Very good English and preferably good German skills.
