Senior Sharepoint Developer. This position is in support of the USAEUR Mission Partner the G6 HSD, located inWiesbaden, Germany.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Designs and creates SharePoint sites using web UI developing tools or SharePoint Designer
2. Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge regarding SharePoint architecture, functionality, workflow development, and development tools
3. Develops user controls, dashboards, master pages, and advanced workflows using SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and custom ASP.NET web forms
4. Troubleshoots software problems and debugging code
5. Monitors and maintains SharePoint application portfolio(s) and necessary web-based applications on SIPR/NIPR networks
6. Performs SharePoint administration to configure settings that affect the system
7. Performs stress testing on the web storage system, dashboard site, SharePoint servers, and web parts to ensure optimal system performance.
8. Advises the Content Librarian, Content Manager, and Content Coordinator on proper document profiling and customization of MP SharePoint instances
9. Integrates and configures .NET applications and SharePoint technologies with Structured Query Language (SQL) Server database
10. Maintains and administers SharePoint, including daily monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance analysis
11. Mentors other SharePoint developers
12. Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments
13. Possesses domain and expert technical knowledge
14. May supervise othersDesigns and creates SharePoint sites using web UI developing tools or SharePoint Designer
Qualifications:
15. BA/BS +4-8 years’ experience in a related field preferred or equivalent experience considered.
16. Possess a Secret clearance with the ability to retain.
17. Certification - GCLD or GSEC or CSSLP
18. Possesses mastery of SharePoint development and administration, with comprehensive knowledge of SharePoint architecture, functionality, and advanced development tools. Possesses expert-level skills in creating complex SharePoint sites, user controls, dashboards, and workflows using SharePoint Designer and other customizable web forms. Exhibits proficiency in integrating .NET applications and SharePoint technologies with SQL Server databases, ensuring optimal performance across multiple networks.
19. Displays advanced troubleshooting and debugging capabilities, with expertise in stress testing and performance optimization of SharePoint environments.
20. Demonstrates leadership in mentoring other SharePoint developers and potentially supervising teams.
21. Brings extensive background in collaborating with content management teams and providing expert advice on SharePoint customization and document profiling best practices.

23. Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) in SharePoint or Microsoft Pervue Cert
24. Experience managing complex IT and communication system projects.
