As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our organization by analyzing loan applications for commercial customers in terms of credit risk. Your responsibilities will include:
* Identifying risks inherent to debtors and transactions
* Expressing your opinion on which approach to adopt to facilitate the task of decision-making bodies concerned
* Analysing balance sheets and current and future cash-flows as well as assessing counterparties' ratings
* Carrying out valuations of assets used as collateral (mortgages on buildings in the Greater Region or abroad)
* Providing support to the Front Office (assistance with the structuring of loans, credit risk advice, determining the level of collateral)
You will also be expected to ensure strict compliance with credit risk procedures and guidelines.
Our ideal candidate will have at least three years of higher education in economics, management or finance or at least 5 years of professional experience as corporate officer at Retail / CIB or consultant at Credit Department. Fluency in French and English is required, with knowledge of German being an advantage. You should also have sound knowledge of loans and financial instruments as well as of local and neighbouring real estate markets.
Proficient users of common office automation tools are preferred, particularly Excel (advanced), Visual Basic, Access and Business Objects. Familiarity with Basel Rating Tools is also desirable.
