DSJ Global are currently seeking experienced and strategic Procurement professionals on a permanent basis for a global software company expanding their European operations in Frankfurt.
These newly created roles will sit within the procurement function, supporting the management of key indirect categories and contributing to a wider procurement transformation initiative.
This internationally recognised software provider operates in over 50 countries and is undergoing a major investment phase in its procurement organisation. As part of this transformation, the company is hiring for multiple strategic positions in Germany, including:
* Procurement Manager - Professional Services
* Procurement Manager - Software
* Procurement Manager - Hardware
The focus will be on building and executing category strategies across a range of indirect spend areas, with a particular emphasis on:
* Software & IT Infrastructure
* Hardware & Equipment
* Professional & Consulting Services
* HR & Talent Solutions
* Legal, Marketing & Training Services
These are strategic roles requiring strong stakeholder engagement, sourcing, negotiation, and contract management capabilities. Candidates will be expected to take ownership of their categories and drive long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead sourcing and category management activities across one or more indirect categories, with a focus on Software, Hardware, or Professional Services.
* Develop and implement category strategies aligned with global procurement goals.
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across functions and geographies.
* Negotiate supplier contracts and pricing to ensure cost efficiency and compliance.
* Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
* Support the broader procurement transformation and harmonisation across the business.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in strategic procurement, category management, or sourcing within a multinational environment.
* Strong knowledge in one or more of the following: Software, Hardware, or Professional Services.
* Ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
* Familiarity with procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Coupa) is preferred.
* Fluency in English is essential; German at strong B1/B2 level or higher is preferred (C1 ideal).
* Experience in the software or technology sector is a plus.
