Responsibilities:
1. Strategic and operational leadership of the department for Quality, Environment, Occupational Safety, and Energy
2. Responsibility for the integrated management system (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001), including internal and external audits and other certifications
3. Oversight of Continuous Improvement Management, including the definition and initiation of improvement projects
4. Analysis and optimization of processes to enhance quality and safety
5. Monitoring and ensuring compliance with legal regulations in environmental protection, occupational safety, and energy management
6. Responsibility for quality reporting to local management and the Hydro Group
7. Training and awareness-raising of employees on topics related to quality, environment, and safety
8. Point of contact for authorities, auditors, and external partners
9. Personnel and budget responsibility for the areas of Quality, Environment, and Occupational Safety, including leadership and development of the team
Profile:
10. Completed university degree in engineering, environmental technology, safety management, or a comparable field
11. Several years of professional experience in quality, occupational safety, environmental and energy management, and in the application of common quality techniques (, Ishikawa, FMEA, Six Sigma, 8D)
12. Auditor certification in at least one of the above-mentioned areas
13. In-depth knowledge of legal regulations, relevant standards, and methodologies
14. Experience in team leadership, project management, and continuous improvement
15. Experience in processing metallic materials (primarily steels) and non-destructive testing is an advantage
16. Strong analytical skills and a structured working approach
17. Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and high social competence
18. Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
