We are on track to implement a global SAP S4/HANA system and are actively driving the development of AI and analytics solutions. As a Senior Solution Engineer (m/f/d) for Source-To-Pay, you will play a key role in automating procurement processes and designing new AI-supported workflows.
In addition to our wide range of benefits, you can expect an attractive starting salary between $104,800/year and $127,100/year plus a variable component for full-time employment. The starting salary is based on your qualifications and professional experience.
In detail, this means:
1. Designing and managing the implementation of global solutions within internal IT&D with a strong focus on SAP S4/HANA materials management and purchasing, ARIBA, supplier invoice management, and payment processes
2. Evaluating and applying SaaS products, machine learning, and artificial intelligence for the digitalization of procurement processes
3. Advising global process owners and maintaining relationships with external partners
4. Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation through the further development and implementation of Covestro's C3 values
Your profile:
5. University degree in business informatics, computer science, or a related field (focus on supply chain management, procurement, or data analysis is an advantage)
6. Strong analytical thinking and communication skills
7. Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
8. Understanding of artificial intelligence and cloud computing, as well as experience with analysis tools or platforms
9. Proven knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA, preferably in procurement or materials management, demonstrated by several years of professional experience
10. Very good and proven project management skills, including AGILE methodology
11. Very good written and spoken English
