Responsibilities
1. Application engineering consulting and design of magnetic couplings and mechanical seals for maritime applications
2. Technical, sales and strategic advice and support for the subsidiaries in the expansion of business in the field of magnetic couplings, maritime seals and special applications
3. Carrying out technical and commercial quotation processing in SAP as well as calculations for magnetic couplings/mechanical seals and special maritime applications
4. Continuous maintenance and expansion of existing customer relationships, including customer visits and customer training
5. Proactive search for and development of new sales opportunities and development of effective sales strategies
6. Processing complaints, damage analyses and damage reports in close cooperation with the complaints management and design departments
7. Participation in contract award negotiations and in the new and further development of products
8. Support in the processing of design orders
9. Preparation of technical documents and application guidelines as well as reference documents, specialist presentations and industry-related presentations
10. Supporting the sales companies with customer-specific standardization projects
Qualifications
11. Successfully completed engineering studies with a focus on mechanical engineering, precision engineering or industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
12. Confident handling of MS Office, further knowledge of special software (SAP, etc.) an advantage
13. Entrepreneurial thinking, strong customer orientation, reliability and professional appearance
14. Strong communication skills, flexibility and high ability to work in a team, as well as a high degree of self-organization and an independent, results-oriented way of working
15. Business fluent in German and English
16. High willingness to travel (internationally)
