Your tasks
7. Programming and optimization of control systems based on Python and TANGO Controls in the context of the high-performance laser system PEnELOPE
8. Development and implementation of automation concepts for complex laser and experimental systems
9. Connection and integration of hardware interfaces (e.g., fieldbuses, serial communication, TCP/IP) as well as development of the control logic.
10. Creation of visualizations and modern user interfaces (HMI) for monitoring the system and evaluating measurement data
11. Integration of new subsystems (e.g. diagnostics, drive technology) and support during commissioning in ongoing operation.
12. Close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams from electronics, laser physics and experiment development
Your profile
13. Completed university degree (Master's or Diploma) in automation technology, electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable field of study
14. Solid experience in software development, ideally in the field of control or automation systems (e.g., Python, TANGO Controls)
15. Safe handling of programming hardware interfaces and communication protocols
16. Experience in the development of HMIs or visualization solutions for technical systems
17. Basic understanding of electrical systems and the operation of complex systems
18. Structured and independent working style with the goal of creating robust and sustainable system solutions.
19. Interest in working in an international and research-oriented environment
