SAP Development Lead Position
This is a key leadership role in our SAP development team where you will be responsible for the technical coordination and alignment with all relevant stakeholders. Your primary goal will be to ensure the on-time delivery and technical implementation of new functionalities and services within the SAP environment.
Job Responsibilities
1. Technical Design and Coordination: You will take responsibility for the technical design in SAP BTP and SAP S/4HANA and manage external service providers to ensure high-quality development services.
2. Development Guidelines: You will define development guidelines based on SAP Clean Core principles, review service provider developments, and initiate targeted improvement measures.
3. Solution Approaches: You will evaluate solution approaches for necessary technical adjustments, from classic enhancements and ABAP Cloud to key-user extensibility and side-by-side extensions in BTP.
4. Implementation: You will implement high-performance solutions using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), ABAP, and the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) in S/4HANA and SAP BTP.
5. Integration: You will integrate solutions with SAP systems, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Service and Asset Manager, SAP Ariba, SAP Datasphere, BW/4HANA, and SAP Integration Suite.
6. Frontend Applications: You will develop modern frontend applications with SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, HTML5, or frameworks such as React.
7. BTP Services: You will actively utilize SAP BTP services, including SAP Cloud Foundry, SAP Build (Automation/Workzone), SAP Business Application Studio, SAP HANA Cloud, and SAP Embedded Analytics.
Requirements
* Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
* 6–8 years of experience in SAP development (SAP BTP and/or SAP S/4HANA).
* Experience working with or managing external IT service providers.
* Strong knowledge in ABAP / RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model), SAP CAP Model, SAPUI5 / Fiori Elements, Node.js and/or Java (Spring Boot is a plus), JavaScript / TypeScript, and familiarity with authentication technologies (OAuth 2.0, SAML).
* Familiarity with structured and self-reliant working style.
