As the network service provider for the DRV-Bund, we ensure the secure and high-performance operation of the network infrastructure, compliance with relevant legal standards, cost predictability, cost-effectiveness, and consulting on network solutions. The Network Architecture & Shared Services Team handles key responsibilities for the DRV-Bund’s network and security infrastructure, including architectural oversight, defining standards, demand management, order management, and budget planning, as well as technical group activities, project management, and support for tenders in this area. Responsibilities Assuming personnel and technical responsibility for the Network Architecture & Shared Services Team, currently consisting of 10 employees, through the active application of leadership tools for personnel development and occupational health management Managing external staff, for example in the context of project work Supporting the implementation and follow-up of change processes Actively shaping and managing the team’s assigned tasks, as well as performing IT-related tasks and driving innovation Leading a specialist group for the Data Network and Telephony division (FGDNT) Leading and participating in projects Representing the division in internal and external committees Your Profile You have successfully completed a university degree (Bachelor’s, Diploma) in the IT field or hold an equivalent qualification (e.g., IT-specific certification) Alternatively, you have successfully completed vocational training in the IT field with several years of professional experience You have several years of relevant professional experience in the field of network technologies or architecture You have initial leadership experience Ideally, you have experience managing complex projects and steering initiatives Proficiency in agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban and Atlassian products like Jira and Confluence is desirable You are willing to travel for work You impress with strong communication skills, a clear focus on solutions and processes, and a high level of decision-making authority With persuasiveness, assertiveness, and a clear hands-on mentality, you actively drive initiatives forward A structured, organized, and independent work style, a high level of technical aptitude, as well as flexibility and openness to new topics and technologies round out your profile Further Information People with severe disabilities or those deemed equivalent under Section 2 (2) and (3) of SGB IX will be given preferential consideration if equally qualified.
