Job Summary
As a Senior Solutions Engineering Manager, you will lead and develop a high‑performing team of technology specialists across the Nordics, guiding customers and partners through their journey with NetApp’s Intelligent Data Infrastructure. You will combine strong people leadership with deep technical credibility, overseeing solution architecture, resource planning, and day‑to‑day pre‑sales operations. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will represent NetApp in strategic customer engagements, shaping cloud, data center, and hybrid architectures while ensuring complex technical challenges are solved professionally. You foster a diverse, collaborative team culture, drive continuous learning, and play an active role in change management as the market evolves.
Job Responsibilities
1. Be part of the Western Europe Solutions Engineering Leadership Team
2. Be an integral member of the Nordic go-to-market Leaderhip team
3. Coach, motivate, develop your team and define common goals
4. Convince our customers of the value of NetApp Intelligent Data Infrastructure
5. Collaborate with our hyperscaler partners (AWS, Google, Microsoft) and co-manage the technical partnership
6. Be the contact person for our customers for matters relating to their digital cloud, application and data center transformation
7. Interact with our product management group and peers in other countries
8. Be responsible for employee and team development
9. Support marketing and technical positioning of NetApp at local and internal events
Job Requirements
10. You have leadership experience in highly qualified IT teams and in dealing with IT managers in large companies
11. Understanding of the technologies underpinning data management, all-flash storage arrays, cloud services and architectures, and modern container-based software landscapes; AI/ML, DevOps are not unfamiliar abbreviations to you
12. You know IT trends, disruptions and changes that concern the IT industry
13. Experience working in with distributed teams in the Nordic market is a plus
14. Ability to anticipate, identify problems and deliver technical solutions alongside our internal teams
15. Support with technical escalations at management level
16. Ability to lead the design of creative and industry-leading technical solutions to complex problems
17. Quick comprehension combined with inventiveness to address new trends quickly and effectively
18. Deep understanding of your customer base and technology partners
19. Cultural, diverse awareness
20. Competent ability to create and deliver client presentations
21. Ability and experience to lead and manage a high performance team
22. Secure communication at customer, management and employee levels

24. A minimum of 8+ years of experience with preferably 2+ years as a people mgr.
