Data Architect Role
As a Data Architect, you will oversee the development and maintenance of an enterprise data architecture to ensure efficient use of data across systems.
This position involves collaborating with business teams, solution architects, data engineers, and analysts to implement a data-driven strategy.
* You will design logical and physical data architecture for the integration of internal and external systems.
* You will establish standards for data modelling, storage, integration, and consumption.
* You will work with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
* You will contribute to shaping and leading the company's data strategy aligned with business objectives.
Data Governance & Quality
* You will implement data quality standards, naming conventions, and documentation processes.
* You will ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
* You will participate in enterprise data governance initiatives.
Centralized Data Catalogue
* You will maintain and enrich a centralized data catalogue to enable data discoverability, understanding, and usability across teams.
* You will implement data lineage and metadata management tools.
* You will collaborate with data owners to ensure data sets are trustworthy and traceable.
Technology Support & Enablement
* You will evaluate and recommend technologies (databases, cloud platforms, ETL/ELT tools, data catalogues).
* You will guide technical teams in building secure and high-performing data pipelines.
* You will provide ongoing support to Data, BI, and Data Science teams by ensuring availability of relevant and high-quality data.
Your Profile
* You hold a university degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent.
* You have proven experience (4+ years) in data architecture, data engineering, or information system design.
* Strong expertise in data modelling (relational, dimensional, NoSQL) and complex data flows.
* Solid knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), storage solutions (SQL, Snowflake, BigQuery etc.), and processing tools (ETL, pipelines, DataOps).
* You have experience with data catalogue tools and metadata management.
* You are detail-oriented, proactive, and strategically minded.
* Excellent communication skills with ability to simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences.
* Strong analytical skills with keen eye for details.
* Highly effective communication skills in English. A good knowledge of French is an advantage.
