The Senior Systems Engineer Support (OS) provides engineering and management support for all enterprise systems. Senior Systems Engineering Support (OS) duties include enterprise Microsoft System Center u2013 Operations Manager (SCOM), Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), and group policy object management. This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X. clearance LI-LN1 Responsibilities Major Job Activities: The Contractor shall monitor, operate, and maintain System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) agents on over 200 Enterprise Servers. Operate, maintain, and monitor general purpose and critical computing assets through SCOM to monitor and report on computing assets. The Contractor shall develop and tune telemetry from managed systems to report to and integrate with Regional Cyber Center - Europe (RCC-E) management systems (e.g. Spectrum and SCOM) to enable efficient and rapid diagnoses of root causes of incidents and providing data for trend analysis. Configure, operate, maintain, and monitor MECM for the RCC-E internal managed systems to automate patch management, software distribution, operating system deployment and hardware and software inventory. Develop associated custom software packages as directed by the COR. Identify unhealthy client servers. Material & Equipment Directly Used: Basic Office Equipment Agnostic server hardware environment, virtualization software, Microsoft deployment tools. Working Environment: Normal office environment May require support during periods of non-traditional working hours including nights or weekends. Physical Activities: Must be able to lift / push / pull 40 lbs. unassisted. Qualifications Required Education / Certifications: Candidates must possess one of the following: Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Science or Business Administration or Mathematics plus three (3) years of specialized experience; OR An Associateu2019s degree plus seven (7) years of specialized experience; OR A major certification plus seven (7) years of specialized experience; OR 11 years of specialized experience. OR, one of the following Certifications: SecurityX / CASP Cisco Certified Network Professional - Security (CCNP Security) Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) Federal IT Security Professional - Operator (FITSP-O) GIAC Foundational Cybersecurity Technologies (GFACT) Additionally, c andidates must also possess at least one of the following certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified (Administrator Expert (M365 AE) or Security Operations Analyst Associate) Azure Solutions Architect Expert Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Required Experience: The following experience may be concurrent: Four (4) years of experience using and maintaining UNIX Systems and/or Microsoft Server Based OS experience. Two (2) years of experience with (Microsoft Server Based Products, HP-UX, or Solaris). Two (2) years direct experience with U.S. military command and control or commercial LAN/WAN communication systems. DCWF Proficiency Level: Advanced - IT (Systems Administrator) (451). Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active Secret SSBI (Tier 5 Investigation) Security Clearance.
