The Branch Manager has been with the company for 17 years, starting off in this Operations role and being promoted steadily upwards - a career path you could also follow, as they prefer to promote from within.
You’ll have the chance to work across a wide range of verticals here, from automotive to pharmaceuticals. If you have a desire to specialize then they can work with that too.
You will also get the chance to be trained up to use the industry-leading software Cargowise. A valuable skill to gain.
The company is headquartered in Germany, but with companies and partners in over 120 countries so you can rely on the resources of a global business.
You’d be working out of their Solingen office, in a branch of 30 people, with diversity of gender and nationality. The Export team you'll sit within is 10 people.
With 40% home office time each month, on-site free parking in the city, flexible start-finish times and a subsided Deutschlandticket, you can work how best suits you. Part-time options are also available.

This role is open to anyone from a freshly graduated Forwarding apprentice to 10+ years Ocean Export experience.

The salary will be €36,000 - €55,000 depending on your experience level, alongside career development opportunities and support with qualifications. A Jobrad scheme, Hansefit health app and retail discounts complete a great package.
