Overview

Role: CEO Office – Assistant to the Group Chief Executive Officer (Operations & Projects) (m/f/d)

Location: Munich (regular business travel required)

Target base salary range: €65,000–€95,000 gross p.a. (indicative; depending on experience and demonstrated capability)

The Role: CEO Office - Assistant to the Group Chief Executive Officer (Operations & Projects) (m/f/d)

In this role, you directly work for the Group CEO, founder, and sole shareholder of Buoyancy Technologies SE. The role requires the highest degree of integrity, genuine motivation, hard work, resilience, and excellence. As we have just opened our new Group HQ in Munich, unique challenges and opportunities apply.

Responsibilities and Duties

* CEO Office coordination: triage inbound requests, route topics to the correct owners, and maintain a clear action/decision log to ensure follow-through
* Ensure meeting effectiveness: prepare agendas, presentations, and briefing notes; capture outcomes and decisions
* Lead and deliver ad-hoc CEO assignments, oftentimes last minute and with shifting priorities, and usually with tight deadlines
* Stakeholder interface: coordinate communications and logistics with key customers, partners, advisors (legal/tax/audit), banks, and senior candidates with professionalism and discretion
* Implement lightweight process workflows and templates where needed to facilitate (SOPs)
* Own CEO Office administration end-to-end: automate/digitise where possible, delegate to subsidiaries where appropriate, and execute hands-on when required (e.g., initiating holding payments, supporting accounting, tax and audit preparation, required paperwork, etc.)
* Translate ideas into concrete next steps, owners, and timelines, supporting an atmosphere of constant evolution; great ideas only matter with proper execution
* Occasionally represent the CEO in internal and external meetings (within defined mandate)

Requirements

First and foremost, you must bring outstanding problem solving skills, strong work ethics, and integrity to the table. You must have a genuine interest in scaling Buoyancy Technologies based on our mission and direction. In addition, we consider the following formal requirements mandatory:

* 3+ years of experience supporting company leader (CEO, founder, or equivalent) as a high performer in an extremely fast-moving environment (e.g. scale up, IB, MBB, or similar). This role may not suit candidates who prefer saturated, slow-moving corporate environments
* Outstanding academic background; a scholarship is a plus
* Highest integrity and discretion
* Proven track record of the basics
* Comfort with ambiguity
* Strong judgement and prioritisation: able to make sensible trade-offs
* High execution discipline: reliable follow-through, attention to detail, and ability to run multiple workstreams without close supervision
* Clear communication skills (written and verbal) in English and German mandatory due to daily interaction with German- and English-speaking stakeholders; able to produce concise briefs, emails, and meeting summaries that drive decisions and actions. Additional language skills (e.g. Polish, Italian, French, Hindi) are a plus
* Willingness to travel regularly as required, particularly to our sites in the UK and Germany and to sites of further expansion
* Work authorisation in Germany; ability to complete appropriate screening/background checks where required by customer/project context
* Stakeholder management and informal leadership: Ability to drive outcomes through others without formal authority, while remaining low-ego and execution-focused
* Industrial/technology context is beneficial, but not mandatory
