We are looking for a Strategic Portfolio Manager for Software and Digital Solutions to join us at the earliest possible date. In this role, you will shape and drive the global strategy of our portfolio of software and digital solutions for our G+D customers in the Commercial Markets (CiTs, casinos, commercial banks). You will identify strategic priorities, align them with customer and market needs, and work closely with product management and other key stakeholders.This position requires strong strategic thinking, a deep understanding of market dynamics, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable portfolio decisions.
Your Key Responsibilities:
1. Define and manage the global portfolio strategy for software and digital solutions for the (hybrid) commercial cash cycle, ensuring alignment with corporate goals, market trends, and customer needs, paint points and willingness to pay
2. Support the development of our vertical strategy beyond the existing portfolio based on use cases with a dedicated focus on integrated digital/solution business, including sales enablement and support
3. Explore and investigate new business ideas that advance our (digital) commercial portfolio together with our customers. Take the business leads for those ideas during their early maturity
4. Work closely with product management, sales, and regional teams to prioritize investments, allocate resources, and align market requirements with product roadmaps
5. Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies—such as AI—into the portfolio, with a focus on customer-centric innovation and value creation
6. Develop and implement frameworks for portfolio governance, performance tracking, and health monitoring
7. Support key strategic projects including partner identification and enablement (i.e., on forecasting solutions), global campaigns, innovation initiatives, and third-party integrations as well as country specific cash cycle analytics to advance the cash cycle holistically
8. Serve as a thought partner to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations on portfolio evolution and strategic direction
Your Qualifications:
9. University degree or equivalent qualification
10. Proven experience in strategic portfolio management, ideally in software and/or digital solutions
11. Proven experience in developing innovations together with our customers
12. Strong execution mindset
13. Experience in software sales and business development
14. Strong understanding of emerging technologies, including AI, and their application in customer-focused innovation
15. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across global and cross-functional teams
16. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
17. Industry knowledge in commercial cash management is an advantage
18. Willingness to travel internationally
