Make an Impact/ The role We are seeking a hands-on Director of People to lead our global HR function with a strong interest to understand our business. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing the HR function for Adjust. You’ll lead a team of HR professionals, contribute directly and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership across all functions. This role requires a combination of operational excellence, understanding of the business, and a deep understanding of local labor laws and global HR practices. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for shaping a strong, scalable, and inclusive foundation that will support Adjust’s long-term success. Empower Your Potential/ Responsibilities: Lead and develop a high-performing HR team while contributing directly and ensuring alignment with the company’s global people strategy. Partner closely with executive and departmental leadership to shape organizational design, workforce planning, and talent development initiatives. Oversee all HR functions for the division including employee relations, performance management, payroll, compensation, benefits, and compliance. Collaborate with AppLovin HQ to manage and implement global compensation and benefits strategies. Employee engagement, and cultural initiatives that reflect both local values and company-wide priorities. Ensure compliance with local labor laws, global HR standards, manage regulatory risks, and interface with external legal counsel when necessary. Provide guidance and coaching to managers on HR best practices, change management, and team dynamics. Collaborate with the broader global HR and People teams to harmonize systems, policies, and talent programs. Bring Your Knowledge/ Experience & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). Minimum of 10 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role in a technology or fast-paced international environment. Proven track record in building and leading HR teams, particularly within Germany or the EU. Strong understanding of German labor law and cross-border HR practices. Proactive and data-driven, challenges the status quo to drive meaningful impact. Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
