Your prospective job:
For our renown client Airbus Defence and Space you act as Powerplant System Development Engineer (m/f/d) at the location Manching.
Your responsibilities:
6. Development and in-service support of aircraft propulsion systems for various military aircraft programmes with focus on combat aircraft
7. Derivation of requirements, definition of concept and system architectur
8. Development of qualification programme, support to certification
9. Definition, monitoring and analysis of ground and flight tests
10. Preparation of certification and clearance documentation
11. Control of interfaces to other systems and functions
12. Build line support with respect to system queries/issues/waivers
13. Technical support to defect or problem investigations (root cause analysis, development of problem solutions and modifications)
14. Technical support to modification processes
15. Performing system analyses with respect to performance, dynamic behaviour, operation, control, etc., using handbook methods, simulation tools
16. Design, coding and maintenance of computer programs for synthesis and performance analysis of existing and/or future propulsions systems
Your profile:
17. Completed masters degree in aerospace engineering, systems engineering or comparable
18. Profound knowledge in the area of propulsion systems
19. Detailed knowledge of aviation engine technologies, engine performance, thermodynamic cycles, thermodynamics, aerodynamics, as well as engine operational behaviour and control
20. Good knowledge of air vehicle general systems and system architectures
21. Profound knowledge of and experience in equipment and system engineering
22. Experience with system modelling and simulation tools
23. Software coding (FORTRAN, MATLAB/Simulink etc.)
24. Experience with requirement management tools (e.g. DOORS) would be a plus
25. High proficiency in English, both written and spoken
26. Advanced German would be a plus
