Die WHU sucht ab für den Lehrstuhl Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technological Transformation am Standort Vallendar eine 70 %-Stelle als Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter/Doktorand (w/m/d).
Ihre Aufgaben
1. Sie führen Forschungsaktivitäten zum Thema datengetriebenes Unternehmertum durch
2. Sie unterstützen die Aktivitäten des WHU Entrepreneurship Center ()
3. Sie haben die Möglichkeit, am Lehrstuhl für Entrepreneurship, Innovation und Technologische Transformation zu promovieren.
Ihr Profil
4. Sie haben einen ausgezeichneten Master-Abschluss in Management, Wirtschaftspsychologie, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen oder Datenwissenschaft und interessieren sich für das Thema Unternehmertum
5. Sie haben Interesse daran, Datenanalyse, maschinelles Lernen und/oder generative KI-Sprachverarbeitung für Forschungsaktivitäten anzuwenden
6. Sie verfügen über mindestens grundlegende Erfahrungen mit Python oder ähnlichen Programmiersprachen
7. Sie haben Erfahrung mit quantitativen Forschungsmethoden (z. B. haben Sie für Ihre Masterarbeit eine quantitative Studie durchgeführt)
8. Sie sprechen und schreiben fließend Deutsch

General information
The Chair of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technological Transformation invites applications for a 70% position of Research Assistant/Doctoral Student (f/m/d) located at WHU Campus Vallendar (Starting date 01/04/2026).
Your mission
9. You will conduct research activities on the topic of data-driven entrepreneurship
10. You will support the activities of the WHU Entrepreneurship Center
11. You have the option to conduct a PhD at the Chair of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technological Transformation
Your profile
12. You have an excellent MSc degree in Management, Business Psychology, Business Engineering, or Data Science and you are interested in the topic of entrepreneurship
13. You have an interest in applying data analytics, machine learning and/or generative AI for research activities
14. You have at least basic experience with Python or similar coding languages
15. You are experienced in quantitative research methods (for instance, you have conducted a quantitative study for your MSc thesis)
16. You are fluent in speaking and writing German
