Role Description
To provide comprehensive, efficient HR support ensuring legal compliance (German labor law), smooth HR operations, and a positive employee experience in a highly regulated industry. Hybrid model or part-time possible.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Administration & Compliance
· Manage employee records (digital/physical) in compliance with DSGVO/GDPR and German labor law (BGB, BetrVG).
· Draft and maintain employment contracts, addendums, and termination documents.
· Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical industry regulations (e.g., Arzneimittelgesetz - AMG) for HR processes.
2. Recruitment & Onboarding
· Support end-to-end recruitment: job postings, screening, interviews, reference checks.
· Lead onboarding for new hires (contracts, compliance training, integration).
3. Employee Relations & Compliance
· Establish & maintain relevant HR policies
· Support conflict resolution and performance management processes.
Qualifications
· Experience: 3+ years in HR, preferably in German SMEs. Exposure to pharma/life sciences is a strong plus.
· Legal Knowledge: Proficiency in German labor law (Arbeitsrecht), social security (Sozialversicherung), and GDPR.
· Language: Fluent German (C1+) and professional English.
· Proficiency in MS Office.
· Mindset: Proactive, detail-oriented, and discreet with sensitive data.
· Experience in part-time/freelance HR roles.
· Certification: Personalfachkaufmann/frau (IHK) or equivalent.
