System Lead - HVDC Control
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our engineering team focused on High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) control systems. As System Lead, you will drive strategic development aligned with market needs, customer expectations, and technological advancements.
Your day-to-day activities will involve managing international projects and tenders, coordinating global training initiatives, and shaping innovative control system concepts. You will ensure performance excellence across cost, time, and quality parameters while collaborating across departments to deliver cutting-edge HVDC solutions.
* Lead an engineering team of 15 experts in HVDC control systems, including personnel planning, development, and performance management.
* Monitor and manage team performance regarding cost, time, and quality in the context of international projects.
* Deploy and train employees from cooperating HUBs, CoCs, and CoEs worldwide.
* Create and define control system concepts for high-voltage direct current technology.
About You
A successfully completed university degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with a focus on Power Engineering is essential.
Longlasting professional experience in the design, testing, and implementation of control systems, along with leadership experience are required.
Excellent knowledge in converter and high-voltage technology, comprehensive expertise in control systems, and professional competence in HVDC system technology, automation technology, protection, and control systems are necessary.
Intercultural competence and confident interaction with customers and external business partners, handling of negotiations and conflict situations are also required.
