Location: Baumholder, Germany
Position: Full-time
Duties:
* Provide comprehensive victim advocacy to individuals affected by domestic abuse or problematic sexual behavior.
* Conduct crisis intervention, safety planning, and provide information on legal rights and available services.
* Assist victims in navigating military and civilian resources, including child protective services, shelters, and counseling.
* Coordinate community awareness programs and trainings focused on domestic abuse prevention.
* Collaborate with installation leadership to ensure awareness and responsiveness to victim needs.
* Maintain records, report data, and ensure confidentiality in accordance with Army regulations.
* Participate in emergency response efforts, providing immediate support and guidance to victims.
Requirements:
* Minimum of two years of experience providing victim advocacy services in a social services or military setting.
* Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, education, or related field.
* Preferred: A Master's Degree and five (5) years of supervisory experience in any social service program.
* Knowledge of domestic abuse dynamics, legal rights, and community resources.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate support to victims.
* Ability to work independently and respond to crisis situations with sound judgment.
* Valid driver's license and ability to travel within a 50-mile radius of the assigned installation.
