Digital Media Manager- Programmatic and Paid Social About the job Programmatic / Social Campaign Manager, 9 month FTC (strong potential to go permanent) Location: Heidelberg, Germany, 1 day per week in office Start: ASAP Introduction We are working with a global FMCG leader that is looking to bring in a Programmatic / Social Campaign Manager to support across a dynamic portfolio of digital campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong hands-on experience across programmatic and paid social who can confidently own campaign delivery from planning through to optimisation and reporting. The Role You will be responsible for developing and executing high-performing digital campaigns across programmatic, social, and search channels. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners, combining strategic thinking with strong in-platform execution to drive brand awareness, engagement, and performance. Responsibilities include: * Leading end-to-end digital campaign management across programmatic, social, search, and e-retailer platforms * Developing media strategies and recommendations aligned to business objectives and audience insights * Planning, executing, and optimising campaigns to achieve key performance metrics * Monitoring campaign performance, analysing data, and providing actionable insights for continuous improvement * Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver best-in-class campaigns * Presenting performance results and leading campaign review sessions with stakeholders * Staying up to date with industry trends, platform developments, and testing opportunities * Sharing learnings, case studies, and best practices across wider teams * Supporting and guiding junior team members, ensuring high-quality output You - Skills & Experience: * Proven experience in digital media, with a strong focus on programmatic and/or paid social (minimum 5 years in-platform experience) * Hands-on experience with platforms such as DV360, The Trade Desk, Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, or similar * Strong understanding of ad tech and measurement platforms (e.g. CM360, GA4, DoubleVerify) * Experience managing multiple campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously * Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights * Excellent communication and presentation skills * Experience mentoring or managing junior team members is a necessity Sphere Digital Recruitment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
